"Friendly staff but overall an aging building. Elevator is stupid slow. Workout room is a joke with some equipment that must be 30 years old. Nice outdoor hot tub. Room was fine, but could use with new curtains/shades, especially if you face the mountain as they keep a bright light on for some reason. Can't beat the location, but like all things RCR they really could use to invest in maintenance and upkeep a bit more."

"The property was recently renovated and loved the non carpeted floors, hyge toom, and large TV. Front counter was so friendly. The resturant beside the motel was also excellent and in easy walking distance. Stayed upstairs in the motel portion and found you can only access from one side of the stairs. The only downfall was there was a lingering ordor in the room that always gives me poor vives and turns me of, but it was a nice stay for a budget motel. Would recommend this place to others,...

"For an older motel it is very solid building. The rooms are updated, not fancy, but they are certainly not run down for the age. Good bed. Everything was clean and working order. Worth the $100/night savings for the drive from the Hwy Hotels to downtown Golden."
