"This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value."

"It was an amazing experience, the whole property is beautiful and you right near the mountains and lake. I like that there were no wifi or tv in the room, so you can stay present- enjoy fireplace in your room, play games, go to hot tub. We didn’t know at first that it’s also a nice area above the checking desk where you can play game and billiards. The only one little thing that I would suggest to improve is bedding.
