"I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was impeccably clean, and despite hosting hockey teams, it was impressively quiet. The breakfast was outstanding, offering something for everyone. From multiple types of omelettes to cereals, pastries, and even warm cinnamon buns, the variety and quality were top-notch. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and excellent service!"

"2nd visit to Basecamp Lodge Golden. Still love the simple beauty of this unique find. Sitting in an overstuffed chair with a blanket and a cup of tea in front of the wood burning central fire place, lit Christmas tree and large windows into the winter night sky is a great way to end the day. "

"The only complaint I have is the TV is so low on the wall so when your laying in bed we found it could be put higher onto the wall so we can see if better over our feet! "

"We travelled with a pet at the end of October and had a lovely experience! We were initially a lityle skeptical / unsure due to the not-so-great rarings the place had but it turned out be a really good surprise - the room was clean, well appointed, spacious, had a lovely view and was clearly done up recently. The location was very convenient and close to town yet not noisy or busy and the breakfast was good too. The breakfast room was a little small so i can see why it may be a bit of a pain in summer but it can esaily be resolved by allowing patrons to take the food out / to our rooms"
