"We were here in October 2017. Hotel was nice, had a shared kitchen that we didn't use. Can walk to a few restaurants nearby. There was a hot tub that was shared as well. We only stayed one night so we didn't try it out. It was a little difficult to find the place, and once we did we weren't sure about the parking situation. But we figured it out. The place was nice and clean. Would stay here again."

"A fantastic place to stay, and a brilliant base for the sights of south Iceland. Friendly staff and the room itself had everything you could need for the price, plus a little bit more. Had to use the spare duvet as a pillow, as I like a firm pillow, but that's more personal preference."

"Attractive accommodation in bungalow style lodges, appeared quite new. Kitchen and lounge area shared by a few other rooms, also hot tub. A nice private patio. Rural settings. Good breakfast, also enjoyed evening meal. Friendly staff. "

"Loved our stay at guesthouse Bjarney. Awesome hosts, super nice. Out of all the hotels we stayed in (4 total), this was our favorite in Iceland. Super clean, free parking, spacious room, great hosts. Please do note that the hosts live in the guesthouse as well, we thought that would be awkward at first but it wasn't. The hosts are super nice, they let us use their jacuzi and sauna. Would recommend!"

"The property location was beautiful and remote. The rooms were lovely, clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was nice too but the shower curtain was a little moldy"
