There are 3 heaters and electric mattress warmers to ensure warmth in the cold months. They were very effective. If the Northern Lights had been visible during our stay, we would have had the perfect view. "Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. "

"Everything about this charming home and its hosts was an absolute delight. Nestled atop a hill, you get lovely views when seated in multiple spots around the house. There is a wonderful 360° viewpoint a short walk from the home, and its central location makes it a breeze to get anywhere by bus or car. "This was a large, roomy home with everything you could need. I really liked the comfy blankets and my kids liked the bunk bed room. The bath towels were nice and cozy too. The decor made a difference too. It felt like we were staying in a storybook home. I loved the long wooden dining table and accompanying bench. "Almost everything was fantastic. Just a few suggestions...Purchase a refrigerator with a working ice machine and filtered water to drink. The tap water had a sulfur taste to it. Separating the trash seemed to be a big issue. I suggest you label the trash bins to avoid confusion. One last thing...put a "notice" on the surge protector that ii MUST be on for the internet to work. It was accidentally tripped when plugging in an adapter and it was not discovered for awhile."

"Very clean, lots of space. Nice kitchen, laundry and dryer in the apartment. A little bit of a strange set up. Only 1 tv and it was in one of the bedrooms. No tv in the living room. The only tv also had very limited channels and wouldn’t stream."

"The Marina Hotel is a GREAT place to stay in Reykjavik; it's close to the water and a marina, but also in walking distance to the center of town and has numerous amazing restaurants all in walking distance too; plus the bar/restaurant inside the Hotel is excellent also. It has a unique and very cozy style with a big fireplace inside the lobby, lots of different rooms for groups to gather if needed, and the staff is super nice. I enjoyed staying there very much for 5 days and would stay there again!"
