"The setting in the mountains was beautiful. While the room was adorable, quite unique, the beam in the ceiling of the room was quite low. I hit my head on it a few times!"

"We were here in October 2017. Hotel was nice, had a shared kitchen that we didn't use. Can walk to a few restaurants nearby. There was a hot tub that was shared as well. We only stayed one night so we didn't try it out. It was a little difficult to find the place, and once we did we weren't sure about the parking situation. But we figured it out. The place was nice and clean. Would stay here again."

"A fantastic place to stay, and a brilliant base for the sights of south Iceland. Friendly staff and the room itself had everything you could need for the price, plus a little bit more. Had to use the spare duvet as a pillow, as I like a firm pillow, but that's more personal preference."

"Sat in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Vik the hotel was a perfect base for a couple of days of exploring. Our rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard. The bonus of access to the hot tub and sauna topped off our visit. We would highly recommend. "

"Attractive accommodation in bungalow style lodges, appeared quite new. Kitchen and lounge area shared by a few other rooms, also hot tub. A nice private patio. Rural settings. Good breakfast, also enjoyed evening meal. Friendly staff. "
