"Very short stay to overnight for an early departure next day. This was a very comfortable and low cost stopover. The room is dated but otherwise very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that it is a noisy location by a busy road that had significant traffic at 5AM on a Sunday morning. Obviously not the hotel's fault, but if you're noise sensitive you might want to ask for a room as far from the road as possible"

"The view of the water was lovely. The kitchenette, living room and bedrooms were just like shown the photos. Comfy beds, clean and a very nice walk-in shower. Not a big fan of carpet. Free parking and great restaurant! It is on the hwy so traffic eventually quiets but the starts up again in the early morning. "I would stay again First time traveler in this area. I was worried about being late to check in. I called and all was taken care of. We didn't have to check in at the office, it was all done and our room was ready. We chose this motel because it was super close to the ferry. Little did we know we had to backtrack, a long way, to get to the ferry. Luckily we had given ourselves lots of time, we just made our reservation. We wanted a roll-out bed, they don't have any. "We stay here every time we come to the Coast as it is very handy to the family we are visiting but have never been disappointed! The staff are amazing!! It’s very clean and has everything you need. Well laid out and easy! We’ve stayed at the hotel too but like the villas for the price and the ease. The only suggestion this time is that our room could have used black out curtains as it is quite bright, which we appreciate for the safety of the guests."

"The hotel is very nice, with an excellent gym. There are, however, a couple of things we found disappointing: first, the bed was really uncomfortable—the worst we’ve encountered in years. Second, there wasn’t very good communication about items such as what was expected of us in terms cleaning (eg taking out recycling), or how things worked in the hotel (eg are towels provided at the pool-yes). On the plus side: it was really clean, has a great location, and was well appointed. "

"My husband and I really enjoyed this property. The building is a little run down, but the rooms are spacious and the front desk people were very friendly. It’s a short walk to denman st where there’s so many cool shops and restaurants, as well as really close to Stanley park. Highly recommend!!"

"We had a great stay at Sonder. The neighborhood it was in was quiet and fair safe. A lot of dining option in the neighborhood, transportation is great. The room we stayed in was clean, equipped with kitchen amending you prefer to cook light meals, shower water pressure was excellent! I recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel reminds me a lot of the upscale European hotels ! It is modern , stylish and elegant. The rooms are not huge but extremely functional/ you will find everything you need and more. The best thing about the hotel is the location , super convenient to everything you want to do in downtown Vancouver- from Restaurants to walks , shopping and shows. Highly recommend if you are looking for a perfect city getaway for a few days. Hotel staff is supper friendly and attentive- any requests are fulfilled in minutes …. Tip: No pool or hottub- so if you are looking for those - not this hotel"
