"When traveling, which I do frequently, I look for 3 things when renting a home: 1) Comfortable and functional living space; 2) Nice surrounding area; 3) Good communication with owner. This listing checked off all 3 and then some. The home is just as advertised and offers an exceptional living area. The owner has taken the extra effort to make this rental a memorable experience. It is truly a gem and I would definitely rent this beautiful home again."

"The tiny house experience is what made it unique. Cute and cozy. Dislikes: would have been nice to have a stove and/or a BBQ outside. All in all we had a GREAT time and totally recommend it. 🙂"

"Terri & Dwayne's cabin is exactly what you'd picture if you're imagining the perfect cabin getaway: down a short gravel road, nestled in the trees, and serene. The huge bathtub and on-site laundry area huge assets to this already incredible place. Cowboy and Rancher are loveable and will come say hello."

"The cosy cabin nestled in the woods was the perfect location to escape for a few days. Host couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Fresh eggs (and chickens!) were a lovely bonus. "

"Lovely, cozy cabin near the middle of the island. Easy check in, with all that anyone would need. Owners very responsive when I had a few questions. Came in Summer, but would also work as a Winter getaway. Central so able to get to the various beaches and hikes within minutes via vehicle. Highly recommend Bowen Island Pub and Tippy’s for places to eat. Great stay! Thx"

"The property is snuggled in the woods but close to town and number of nice walks. All the cabins were booked but it was so quiet. The Sauna looked really inviting but we didn’t use it. The fireplace kept us toasty through the rainstorms the boardgames were a godsend since we forgot ours. The kitchen was decently stocked with cookery- do bring your own salad spinner :) Reg was really welcoming and gave us great recommendations on the Island."

The location was excellent, a minute walk from the ocean and a few more to a couple food options. The property manager was thorough and prompt with his communication. Very kind and hospitable! We would highly recommend Yurt Haven for a quiet getaway to the Sunshine Coast."

"The hotel is very nice, with an excellent gym. There are, however, a couple of things we found disappointing: first, the bed was really uncomfortable—the worst we’ve encountered in years. Second, there wasn’t very good communication about items such as what was expected of us in terms cleaning (eg taking out recycling), or how things worked in the hotel (eg are towels provided at the pool-yes). On the plus side: it was really clean, has a great location, and was well appointed. "

"My husband and I really enjoyed this property. The building is a little run down, but the rooms are spacious and the front desk people were very friendly. It’s a short walk to denman st where there’s so many cool shops and restaurants, as well as really close to Stanley park. Highly recommend!!"

"We had a great stay at Sonder. The neighborhood it was in was quiet and fair safe. A lot of dining option in the neighborhood, transportation is great. The room we stayed in was clean, equipped with kitchen amending you prefer to cook light meals, shower water pressure was excellent! I recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel reminds me a lot of the upscale European hotels ! It is modern , stylish and elegant. The rooms are not huge but extremely functional/ you will find everything you need and more. The best thing about the hotel is the location , super convenient to everything you want to do in downtown Vancouver- from Restaurants to walks , shopping and shows. Highly recommend if you are looking for a perfect city getaway for a few days. Hotel staff is supper friendly and attentive- any requests are fulfilled in minutes …. Tip: No pool or hottub- so if you are looking for those - not this hotel"
