He went the extra mile to answer my questions. Now, my original reservation at a different hotel was canceled for some reason. So I walked to a second hotel next door, and the man at the front desk was also kind & helped me find a room in Golden City Hotel. The impression I get in my interactions with the locals is just wonderful....

"We really enjoyed our stay at P Galata. It is very conveniently located to sights such as the Galata Tower. Taksim Square is one stop away on the Tunel ride. The Old Town for the main sights like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace are only a few stops away on the Metro line.
