"We only stayed at the De Reve for 1 night because we were catching a cruise ship the next day. Istanbul is such a great city and we would love to come back and stay longer. If/when we do, we would definitely stay at the De Reve again. The hotel was amazing but the staff was even better! The couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating, plus the breakfast was really, really good! "

"You cannot beat the location! Two minute walk from Galata Tower! Cute neighborhood, walkable to Galata bridge and Sultanahmet neighborhood. Istiklal Avenue is minutes away. I loved the cobblestone streets around the hotel , small cafes. Lots of dining options, souvenir shops, very vibrant area. The room was decent , spacious, may be just a bit dated. "Amazing location and good value. The room had everything I needed and was solid but small. Good shower and comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful - made restaurant reservations, booked taxis and were overall pleasant. Only negatives: no ambient sound and sadly, the room was totally clean when I checked in BUT there was some old pee on the toilet seat. I let the front desk know and they offered to switch my room but I had already started to unpack so they sent housecleaning...
