"The place is clean, the bedrooms are spacious, the common rooms are cozy, the showers are high pressure, and the staff were very friendly. The only complaint is that the house dog situation was, for the time that I was there, a little concerning. They were quite vocal and unfriendly for the most part, apparently because they were in heat. I believe the staff when they say it's not always like that. But overall I greatly enjoyed Guest House Matsu so much that I kept wanting to spend time there...

"Though we are next to Tennoji Zoo, hardly any smell and the place is less than 5mins walk away from Shinsaikei. Despite so, it’s pretty quiet and safe (just avoid the porn-theatre if you have kids). If you are driving, the place is pretty near to the main highway and ETC exit. We had no problem driving from Ikoma.
