"Unfortunately we were only here one night- it is a wonderful hotel in a lovely setting by the canal. The staff were very friendly and attentive both in the hotel and the restaurant. The room was large (standard room) and very clean and comfortable with everything necessary I would definitely stay here again"

We loved the private swimming pool, this is a great feature to have after exploring the local area. We hope to come back again next year!"

"The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was lovely. There were electric sockets where you needed them too. Breakfast was good. The downside of the bedroom was only one side of the bed had a table and lamp. The bathroom smelt terrible like stagnant water. We did inform the girl when we checked out and she said it would be looked into. So avoid bedroom 6. Or keep the bathroom door shut! I also noticed cosmetics a tablets had been left in drawers so they aren’t checked. We had a drink in the bar but it lacked atmosphere and was extremely expensive but there are lots of lovely places in walking distance so not a problem. Parking was easy but I would imagine it’s pretty impossible in school holidays as it’s just on road. "
