The only thing was the room was too hot, no way to turn off the heated towel rail in the bathroom, to be fair we should have just asked. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back."

"The venue is in a beautiful historic building. The facilities are great including a pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The rooms had massive comfy beds and were cleaned daily with plenty of towels and extra tea, coffee and biscuits. My only quibble is that the rooms didn’t have internet tvs. "

"Great hotel, clean and tidy, lots of parking. Bed comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Only complaint was not having coffee granules available (had Taylors coffee bags which are horrible). Breakfast was adequate - hot food wasn't very hot even when just put out. Would stay there again"

"Although a 3* Hotel, the service we received was more in keeping with a 5*. Our room was clean, free of dust and mould, loved the decor. The swimming pool was a huge attraction for my grandchildren and we were able to continue using the facilities after we had officially checked out. Food was well presented and good sized portion. "

"Georgian grand hotel. Hotel has done well to preserve the grand features. This is one for those who like character to a building. Staff were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in with loads of old style leather oxblood sofas and chairs throughout- so comfortable after dinner drinking. Food was lovely. Only requests would be for fresh juices at breakfast rather than concentrate/ squash and a scrambled egg option. Very nice stay - will return. "
