"Hotels.com booked the wrong night, so I was told I had to call Expedia to get the reservation changed to 2/17 check-in date. I could not understand 3/4 of what the lady (apparently from India) was trying to say to me. Luckily the young girl at the hotel check-in desk was extremely nice and helpful; she spoke with the India lady and 15-20 minutes later the reservation was finally changed. "Normally I like La Quinta, but this one was an exception. The service at check-in and checkout was good. The room: Well, my wife can confirm that most of my sense of smell is gone, since a car accident in 2010, but this room had a strong smell that if I could pin point to something it would be, smelly hamper and sweaty socks.
