"I love the brand new building and all the hanging plants around the balcony was pretty. The kitchen had all ample utensils for cooking. The bathroom was beautifully put together. Not 1 bug got in the whole week I was there which for me made for a good nights sleep. There are 2 dogs next door that bark but its not too bad. Honestly I came to realize that I like those dogs barking some to keep bad people away even though the property is gated. I always bring ear puddy on my vacations anyway I find...

Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. "This is such a hidden gem! It was a bit trickier to find with my shuttle bus but Gabriela was outstanding communicating to provide me with directions and reference points ahead. When I walked in, I was in awe. It was the perfect tiny home with luxury of daily necessities. Everything was immaculately clean, with many thoughtful touches to make it as comfortable as possible with strong wifi, tv, air conditioning, kitchen, crockpot, kettle, electric grill, microwave, fridge, laundry line, etc....

"The apartment was clean and comfortable, the kitchen easily accommodated my dietary needs. It was particularly helpful having ice available, as I rolled my ankle the first day and needed to ice the swelling. The grocery stores were within walking distance, the town was nice to stroll thru and Rebecca was always available and helpful with my questions. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who would be staying in La Fortuna"

"The family was very nice that owns this unit... but so, misrepresented... there is NO privacy... no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sink... and the shower, turned only the hot water on, and it was never even warm. The front or back area lights did not work. It was down a very rough road to get to it. The family had 2 dogs and 2 kids ... the neighbors played loud music untill midnight on Friday night... again, the family was very nice but i would never rent there again, or refer anyone to...

"Great home that is a short car ride from La Fortuna. Main area is not air conditioned but the rooms have mini splits that make the entire space comfortable. If the main kitchen doesn't have what you are looking for the outdoor kitchen will. Unfortunately, the oven was not working when we were there."

"5 minutes walking to downtown La Fortuna. Very clean, safe. Alexandra & Andres we’re very gracious & kind & had decorated the apartment with hand made flowers. It was very clean, every worked really well, beds were super comfortable. Andres was great as he organized our tours for us as well & we were picked up from the apartment by the tour guides. I would highly recommend this place."

"Tidy and roomy, but bed was too firm for me and no hot water. It was very difficult for the taxi driver to find the location due to no address, or sign. We finally had to call them for directions. Maria and hubby were very accommodating, but said they couldn't do anything about the lack of hot water until the next day due to needing a part. They acted as taxi drivers to get us to the park and also to La Fortuna, stopping at stores as needed along the way. Super nice! They don't speak English,...
