"Beautiful property. Great pool. Great views. This hotel is a little pricier than the others in the area but it worked out great for us. There was a nice pool and bar to relax in after a day’s activities. The room was clean and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cold. The included breakfast had a nice buffet. Our dinner was excellent as well. Overall all a terrific experience. "

"This was a more rustic property, not updated at all. The rooms were barebones and the water pressure spotty. The pool was in disrepair in areas, but clean. The breakfast service was great. Nothing to do in the area and we needed to drive to anything we needed to do. Overall it was just fine for a few days."

"What a hidden gem! Honestly, the photos don’t do this place justice, it’s even better in person. The vibe is pure Pura Vida from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredibly kind, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming. We only had breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and the food was great, but huge portions. A tip: before booking any activities outside, check with the hotel first. I really wish we had booked the chocolate tour! We did the cooking class and absolutely loved it — preparing and sharing...

"The property feels brand new. It has the feel of a very nice AirBNB without any of the drawbacks you usually see these days. BAUMA has excellent housekeeping and responsive service for whatever issues arise. The villa was comfortable and spacious.
