"This has to be the nicest resort I have ever stayed at! The time of year we were there (early May) wasn't busy at all so we had no trouble finding a hot springs pool all for ourselves. There is a LOT of wildlife to see on their huge property. We did a guided nighttime walk with flashlights and we saw sloths, monkeys, frogs, and (gulp) snakes! The food at their restaurants was great! I ordered something different every night but my wife insisted on getting the same "Typical Costa Rican Meal" each and every night because she liked it so much. My rental car picked up a nail in the tire during the drive there (WARNING: it was three hour drive for us from San Jose) and the Valet re-inflated the tire and gave me directions to a local tire shop to get it repaired (for five bucks - what a deal!). We really want to come back to the Springs again some day!"

"This was a great property and great stay! It was walkable to multiple restaurants and the park. Shuttles were able to come pick us up and drop us off for excursions. All the staff were smiling super hospitable and especially a special shoutout to Fabricio who checked us in and was amazingly helpful in getting us situated in the room and great restaurant recommendations. We went in May and the volcano top was a little cloudy but there was a day it cleared up enough we could see the volcano top from this hotel. It had a beautiful tree path walking to and from our room with flowers and birds. Room was comfortable with ACs and clean room and showers. Beds are firm mattresses and firmer pillows. Breakfast had 3 meal options to pick from each morning and each was great. Coffee and a juice that changed daily. Great stay here. "

We like that they had on call transportation for us whenever we wanted to go into town. The pool, bar and dining areas were very spacious and nice. We really enjoyed their food and drinks. Definitely recommend to stay here as a couple trip."
