"Beautiful property. Several walking paths with horses nearby. We don't golf, but glad we stayed at this property. Good was good at their restaurant. Make reservations ahead of time. Friendly staff. Room service was excellent!"

"Lovely 3 night stay, staff are very nice. Rooms are not very spacious, but clean and beds are comfortable. though we had a room that faced the parking area, the trees around make it nice. Speaking of parking, there's limited parking at the premise, so if you stay over the weekend - might have to park at the zoo parking lot and pay a fee as hotel parking is first come first serve. Overall, very convenient, with bus stop to city center right outside the hotel - easy to get to city center yet away from the hustle and bustle. "

"The hotel was very clean, room is compact and I really like the design especially the lighting. The only downside was there was some weird smell in the hallway, but it smelled like paint or chemicals so I assume there might've been some work being done on the day of my visit."

"Apex Grassmarket is an outstanding hotel. Very nice staff that went out of there way to welcome us and make us comfortable...especially Thyna. She went above and beyond in changing our room to one with a walk in shower so I didn't have to step into a very high walled tub to shower. We had a great 4 day stay, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and very close to the major attractions so walking everywhere was possible. A big plus is some great restaurants, pubs, shopping and a wonderful ice cream shop right across the street. We'll be back next year!!!"
