"The property was one of our best stays ever, and that saying a lot for world travelers. It was excellent, Estella was our room and it was exceptional. Property is difficult to access though for those with bad knees or mobility concerns. It is high on the hillside above the Malecon, but that affords it an excellent view."

"Great location. Rooms are fairly basic but clean. AC worked well and had hot showers. Hallways echo a lot, very loud in the morning. Rooftop pool needs more lounging chairs and need to get rid of the pigeon and pigeon poop problem with a fake owl or something. Breakfast is awesome! "

"I enjoyed my stay here. It’s a quirky slightly rundown place that has perhaps seen better days. But it has character. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The views are amazing. It’s a bit noisy, so keep that in mind. The penthouse restaurant was very enjoyable. The pool is small and cold, but you can still do laps. great deal for the money. I would stay again "
