"Located in a central area, very close to Egyptian museum, Cairo tower. There are varieties of dining options nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room/bathroom equipped with necessary items including AC, hair dryer and iron. Breakfast good and more than enough. Special thanks to manager who arranged dinner cruise at last minute, when my original booking was cancelled. Overall, highly recommend."

"The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great. I think if the hotel wanted to improve it should revamp the entire kitchen in terms of what is available for breakfast and the quality of their food, in comparison to better restaurants and types of cooking. "Location is good but rooms are not clean , no services whatsoever , staff is lazy they saw me taking my bags down the stairs on my check out ( elevator is a floor below) and did not even offer to help no change of plankets or room cleaning service etc no shower supplies at all , bathroom is old and not in a working condition."

"Property is very old, so I do understand a bit of difficulty. Very hot when we were there, and ac cpuld not really cool room. Limited and dodgy wifi. Staff very eager to please. Tours arranged with Mr. Samir Fayek from hotel were great. Jotel has fewat driver and ac van for tour use, and Mohammed was a great guide! He spoke uent English, plus several ither languages. We were easily able to see all the sights."

"the lobby was so noisy, and they did not have change when I pay cash at the check out. I heve never imagined that a Hilton Hotel didn'thave money to give a change to a customer. "

"1. The hotel is not near Ramses Train Station as shown on the map on hotels.com (Google the address listed for correct location) 2. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mould - there had been no attempt to clean it. I’m used to backpacking and budget hotels but this is the worst I’ve ever stayed in. 3.
