"I have stayed at this hotel twice. Kamal seems to be the local manager. At this time, I am providing information about him only, and not the property. Kamal is a very nice man. "Giza is dirty and noisy, any property would get a similar review. The hotel is very close to the Pyramids and if you get a view room, they are very close. The food in the upstairs restaurant is very good, and a large Egyptian breakfast is included. I would probably stay in Cairo on my next visit, as the Pyramids are a fair distance away. "

"The Mamlouk Pyramids Hotel over delivered in terms of location and view. The balcony room and restaurant had a gorgeous sunrise view of the pyramids and we were literally around the corner from Giza Plateau. The staff did not complain at all for having to wait up until 4 am to check us in. "

"This is a great budget hotel in downtown Cairo. Staff is incredibly friendly. Best part of the hotel for sure. It is on the 5th and 6th floor of a building so intially you need to climb some stairs. The elevator does work but you need a fob for it. Rooms are nicely renovated too. If you’re traveling solo or on a budget this is a great hotel. "

"Went for the first time to Cairo, had our doubts but soooo worth the visit. If you get the chance to upgrade the room to suite do it. We stayed at a suite with garden, zoo and pyramid views breathtaking. The service is exceptional, the room service meals amazing. Well worth the price. Would stay there a million times more. We were sooo sad to leave. They made our stay unforgettable. "

"I like the name and legacy. I didn’t like the furniture that needs upgrading within 2-3 years, I didn’t like room service that needed a new menu and chef, I didn’t like the relative lack of training of staff at concierge and overall. I didn’t like being told all restaurants open until 1 am when only two were open. I didn’t like the smell of the cigar room reception. I didn’t like the Lebanese restaurant Zaitouni; it should be replaced immediately. "
