"The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful. Very good sized room and king sized bed. However, it's all in need of modernisation, so some things (e.g. lights) are dated and not all working properly. Apparently this is being done soon. I was not told that there would be a banging disco downstairs on the Saturday night, which went on until a little after midnight. The walls are THIN ... I heard a lot of noise from the adjacent room, even down to the clicking of their light switches and...

"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"The weather was very bad, ice and snow. Log burners in hotel helped my mood on arrival. The hotel has good parking and the staff very helpful, evening meal very good and also breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom was well sized and all clean and comfortable. Cannot think of anything negative. Apart from the weather. Will stay there again next time I need a hotel in the area."

"The Plough is a quaint and adorable hotel/pub very convenient to the beautiful villages of the Peak District. The staff were friendly, food was delicious and our room was charming. We will definitely return when we visit this area again."

"The breakfast was amaizing!!! The room had heating, i turned radiator down but nice if u like heat... the bed was very close to the tv on wall so getting to yhe otherside of the bed you are banging into bed. But rest brilliant, fabulously comfy bed and affordable."
