Rooms are big and the bathroom had both bath and shower so you could soak out the cold after a day out. Hotel is just outside city centre but public transport is easy to use."

"We stayed here for 3 nights on our first visit to Iceland. The hotel was in an ideal location - only a 15 minute walk from the bus terminal, right on the Laugavegur street of shops and restaurants but in the quiet area, 5 minute walk to the water edge for some stunning views of mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful, easy check in, clean and spacious rooms with a hot shower and clean bathroom, decent hot and cold breakfast options from 7-10. We had an early check out on our last day and the staff provided an early coffee and croissants before 7:00 (you just need to mention this the evening before). We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would happily stay here again. "
