"This is a beautiful property situated across the bay from Grundarfjordur and the stunning Kirkjufell mountain. The bedroom was very spacious, as was the bathroom. The kitchen is perfect for multiple travelers to utilize at once and had plenty of basic spices, cooking and dining ware. I would happily stay here again! This was one of my favorite places I stayed in Iceland."

"We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. "We stayed in the bungalow which was very new and clean. It looks exactly as presented in the pictures. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was decent. The bungalows have their own outdoor hot tub and sauna area which was nice. There are about 12 bungalows total (I think), so it could get crowded in that hot tub and sauna when the hotel is busy given they weren’t very big. "We spent a lovely two nights here. The views are spectacular. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Would stay here again. 10/10 "

"Great property. But distant from the primary tourist destinations like the golden circle points. Restaurant food is great (though limited vegetarian options- which is expected) and staff is super friendly and happy to help plan any outings. Hot baths are a great place to relax. Great for northern lights viewing as husafell has less light pollution."

"Moar Guesthouse was a lovely, warm and cosy place for oue one night stay, but we would have happily stayed longer. There was a mix up with the room when we got there and we didn't get a reply from the owner, but we found a free room and took it. Other than that, no complaints, we had a good night's sleep."

"My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Daniel and Sam were incredibly friendly and hospitable and made our time in Stykkishólmur memorable. They both went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and meeting them was the highlight of our trip. As an LGBTQ couple we felt very welcome and safe. "The location of the hotel is located the north west corner of the Peninsula, you can see a mega sky that you may be never saw before. The servicer is friendly, I would like to recommend this property to everyone."

"Incredibly cute house and very nice property. Nice to have access to kitchen and dining area. It is however an incredibly old house, which means you can hear everything - made us very aware of any noise we made - talking, walking, etc. Very glad we stayed here as was a very unique property, just something to keep in mind as felt very aware of any sounds we made. "Charming little place in the middle of nowhere, which I loved. Incredible quiet except for the roaring river and waterfalls the hotel overlooks. The breakfast was excellent and offered lots of options, and the dinner I had one night was delicious. A great choice!"

"My spouse and I booked the Fosshotel Hellnar as a stop on our Iceland road trip. It ended up being the perfect location to stop after 1 day travel from Reykjavik and partway around the Snaefellsnes peninsula. We were cold and tired by that point and the Fosshotel was so comfortable on our arrival. The fireplace in the lobby was very inviting. The room was spacious, comfortable and the heated bathroom floor tiles were such an appreciated luxury to us that day. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel...

"We had a really lovely stay here. The staff were very kind and the included breakfast was delicious, filling, and very well presented. The hotel is super clean, everything seems brand new and the room was so spacious. We love this part of Iceland so this was a great place for us to stay- we certainly recommend it! "

Reykjavik Marina - Berjaya Iceland Hotels

"We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. The property is on the marina and is a lovely quiet area. It is a short walk from everything, and there are lots of restaurants within a short distance. Although there is no parking listed on the property details, we hired a car and there was lots of free parking behind the hotel in a safe area. We had breakfast included and there were lots of options available to suit all tastes. We arrived early after a very early morning flight hoping to have our luggage looked after, but they allowed us to check-in early which was brilliant. We even got upgraded for free to a residential suite instead of the double room we booked as I mentioned it was my partner’s birthday, and this was a really nice touch! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and provided great advice about the local area and any excursions. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again, can’t recommend enough!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The lobby, restaurant and rooms are decorated very nicely— cozy and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent- abundant selections including chia pudding. Dinner was fabulous too."
