The hotel is conveniently located by the lake with a supermarket just down the street and a shuttle bus which brings guests to and from Otsu station. "I’ve been to many capsules across Japan and my stay here was at the too. Yes, I’ve stayed in Kyoto, Osaka, but wanted to spend a few days in Ōtsu and experience a slower pace and so glad I did! We noticed lot of school kids stayed in the hotel, probably for the American historical context, or that it was just right by one of the main train stops. "Hotel is 3mins walk from the train station which was ideal as I was arriving into Omihachiman late at night. The room is clean and spacious. I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. "The location is perfect. Only a two minute walk from the station, completely covered overhead. A plaza is right across from the station. The room is spacious and quiet. Staff is professional and efficient. It was a wonderful stay."
