"Our room was small but very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nice bed and pillows. Climate control and lighting were very good. Breakfast in the on-site restaurant was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Location was very convenient while being in a fairly quiet neighborhood. Parking was available another corner for an extra charge, but was reasonable and safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The location of the Fraser is ideal. You can walk from the train station if not carrying heavy luggage, otherwise, a quick but pricy taxi ride. Located a 1/2 block from the Royal Mile. Room was handsome. Two factors kept me from giving a perfect score: the heating unit was really noisy, and the lighting was subdued. Would have appreciated a strong bulb at the desk so as to not always strain my eyes."
