"It is a beautiful,clean hotel with water and candy at the front desk! We had a corner room, great view, very spacious too! It was very walkable to the great areas, Gaslamp, downtown, and a $40 Uber drive to La Jolla! Great hotel and location! "

"I booked the Kings Inn mainly looking at the posted reviews that are usually very good. I was in San Diego for a special event and I thought I had booked a "special" hotel. I have to say that I was rather disappointed when I got my first look at the hotel and when we entered the lobby. The state of the lobby sitting area is not as glamorous as the website may suggest: it is quite aged. ALSO I would qualify this hotel as a "retro" hotel but not at all "Art deco" hotel: please fix this...
