"This was my second stay at this property. The staff and l location are fantastic. On check-in, I did experience a foul odour of urine in my room. I reported this to reception and was provided a new room. My first stay was perfect, this time however; the odour in the room, and tiredness of the replacement room were a bit of a shame. "Inn By the Sea was a nice surprise, and such a great hotel! Walking distance to the Cove where the sea lions are and close to many great restaurants, especially Spiro’s. Beds were comfortable, staff was great with us, including my very rambunctious little niece & nephew. There was a great little pool house with coffee, hot chocolate, a TV, and snack machine to relax in. Overall I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again! "
