"We loved our impromptu stay at Trailborn Surf & Sound. The hotel was recently renovated and is beautiful. The hotel offers many amenities like the greens with outdoor games, the beach (along with umbrellas, towels, and Lounge chairs) and even boogie boards and games for the kids. There is a pool bar and onsite restaurant. Coffee is tasty as well! We wish the pool was heated and the staff cleaned our room earlier in the day. Aside from this, we were very happy! We would definitely stay here...

"This property worked very well for our April trip to the Outer Banks. The main selling points were: (1) Great accommodation for two adults and two teens. We had a unit with a living/dining area and kitchen, a master bedroom, and a separate loft room up a flight of steps, which gave the teens their own space.
