"This is a beautiful old hotel with classic marble and wood decor, which does show its age a bit but in a charming way. The location is close to the station which was handy for an early flight. The rooms was a very good size for Amsterdam, it was well equiped with good coffee, excellent bathroom. The price was very good for this quaility of hotel. Above all the staff were fantastic. I would definately stay here again, and recommend it to others."

"Comfy stay, the hotel is in a convenient location and well furnished. I asked beforehand for a late checkout as was told to phone reception at 7am on the day (not very convenient if the reason you need a late checkout is to sleep!) I agreed a 2pm checkout as I had a meeting to attend online. During my meeting the telephone in the room started to ring loudly. They were calling to see why I hadn’t checked out! "The hotel staff were lovely and accommodating, even letting us check in early. The room whilst only for two of us was very small. You could not sit on the toilet without having to lean a significant amount to not be blocked by the sink next to you. Additionally, the toilet had a leaking problem where the floor became soaked no matter how much we tried to dry it out. Most of all, the slanting mattress was the biggest issue.
