"Hotel and Spa staff are excellent. Location in the New Forest is ideal and I regularly recommend Brockenhurst as a good location to base oneself. The hotel is OK but slightly disappointing given it's price point and premium positioning. Room are tired and slightly under equipped, the spa area is a little dated with free access only including the basic pool and steam room/sauna and the breakfast, although offering a good range of options, became rapidly depleted. We had a basic room for ~£225...

"We booked one of the suites with the hot tub. While it was a luxurious experience, the bathrooms needed a bit of renovation and care. You could still hear neighbours and staff cleaning rooms next door, which is annoying if you want to have a nap. Lovely surroundings. Main restaurant ok-ish. I wished they didn’t put so much sugar in all the dishes. Only the dover sole escaped the sugar and was delicious. I think the place is overpriced for the comfort and service, like a lot of places in UK. If...

"Our lovely accessible room stunk of cigarette smoke so we had to move to a normal room which had no walking shower, single beds, was smaller and basic compared to our original room. This was very disappointing however grateful an alternative room was provided and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great"

"Nice place, let down by housekeeping in the Manor House, trays with leftovers on the stair case from check in to the following morning, glasses left on staircase and tables. Coffee machine would not work as needed a deep clean. Food was perfect and staff excellent in the bar area. "
