"First of all, checkinn was 2 pm. But we had to wait till 3pm because the room was not ready. No sorry nothing. The reception lady and the manager on duty didn't even greet properly. None of the days we were there. Imagine it's a small hotel and you have to past them every day. They just look at you. The sink had a blockage, so the water didn't flow and there was a smell in the bathroom. No separation between toilet and bath so the whole bathroom was full with water. On our 3rd day somebody was...

"It is in a busy not very good locale and although the area has character it is not a pleasant environment. The public areas are cluttered with boxes and the rooms have shared facilities and are threadbare. A lot of males hanging around. Although we were only going to use the room before catching an early morning plane we left and went to another hotel. I am surprised it is on Expedia's list."

"One of Our Best Family Holidays! We stayed at Sofitel The Palm Dubai from March 29 to April 4 as a family of four, and had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean, beautifully maintained, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, with a great variety that changed daily. Our younger son has severe food allergies, and we were incredibly impressed by the level of care and attention he received. Special thanks to Chef Diego and Manager Prakash at Manava Restaurant for preparing safe meals for him every day. The Food & Beverage Manager, Lasantha Fernando, personally met with us on arrival and explained how the team would support us throughout the stay. The entire hotel staff was aware of our son’s condition and handled everything with professionalism and kindness. Our Family Deluxe Suite was spacious and perfect for a family. The in-room kitchen, washer, and water purifier were especially useful. We also really enjoyed the beach and the calm atmosphere. We felt safe, relaxed, and truly cared for. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel—especially for families with special dietary needs."
