"Augustin was AMAZING. We arrived late due to a medical emergency, and he was there to greet us and open the gate for us on arrival. There is no parking on site, and the parking nearby was closed when we arrived, so Augustin hopped in the car and helped us with the parking! He insisted on carrying all of our luggage to and from the room, and when we left very early in the morning he was there to help us load the car. What a gem. "Very pretty hotel that was clean and well maintained. Staff were super helpful, one even helped me learn more Spanish. 🙂 They made me special scrambled eggs without jambon for breakfast because I don’t eat meat. Hotel Rojas has portable heaters for comfort. And hot water!. I had two rooms, one before the four day Inka trail and one after. "The staff was so helpful from allowing us to store our large luggage while we went to Machu Picchu to arranging a special last minute tour to the Sacred Valley as well as preparing a nice breakfast with made to order eggs. "The room was freezing cold with no heating. Lots of blankets so you eventually got warm in the bed. Shower water never got warm. Standard Peruvian breakfast but smaller, consisting of bread, 1 scrambled egg and a small juice. Good location for walking to the main square"

"The hotel is well situated in the city of Cusco. The room was clean and bathroom very efficient. Hot water was provided, however it was difficult to temper the water. The room was on the upper level and did not have heat. I slept with my coat and hat on as the temperature does drop to 36 Fahrenheit at night. I ended up staying an extra night. Check out was very painful. I needed to do get my change and processed to the airport. It took me over 30 minutes to rectify at the bar."

"This hotel is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a somewhat chaotic historic center of Cusco. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms beautifully decorated, breakfast was fabulous with assorted items to choose from the buffet and then cooked to order eggs. I had to leave early in the morning on my last day and they prepared a sack breakfast for me to take with me on the road. The staff was always very friendly and helpful and I highly recommend highly recommend this hotel. "
