"We had a great experience at Tierra Vivo. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, location was convenient, and breakfast was great. The staff was also very accommodating and welcoming, and allowed us to keep our luggage there for 4 days while we did our Machu Picchu trek. Only complaint is that in the second room we stayed in, there was a gap at the top of the door which allowed a lot of noise to come through. Other than that, highly recommend and would stay here again!"

"This hotel is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a somewhat chaotic historic center of Cusco. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms beautifully decorated, breakfast was fabulous with assorted items to choose from the buffet and then cooked to order eggs. I had to leave early in the morning on my last day and they prepared a sack breakfast for me to take with me on the road. The staff was always very friendly and helpful and I highly recommend highly recommend this hotel. "

"Augustin was AMAZING. We arrived late due to a medical emergency, and he was there to greet us and open the gate for us on arrival. There is no parking on site, and the parking nearby was closed when we arrived, so Augustin hopped in the car and helped us with the parking! He insisted on carrying all of our luggage to and from the room, and when we left very early in the morning he was there to help us load the car. What a gem. "Basic room with a window facing into the passageway, this meant keeping the curtains closed all the time for privacy. The courtyard/passageway echoed alot so a 3am wakeup was not uncommon as people left for tours. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was very basic and bottled water was available. A water refill station would have been great to cut down on the plastic bottles. The room was clean and comfortable. "
