"The hotel is in an excellent location and is very quiet. The staff were helpful. I did have several emails while staying at the hotel saying they were going to cancel my booking as they had not heard from me and as it was all in Spanish I had no idea what the emails contained. I was actually at the hotel and showed the receptionist and she had no idea why i had been sent the emails. I enjoyed my stay there"

"Mexico City is in an earthquake zone. There was an earthquake alert the night we checked in - and being foreigners we didn’t know what the sound was. We heard later that we should have vacated the building when we heard that sound as a precaution. But we weren’t told to do that nor did anyone call our room to ask us to evacuate. Luckily nothing catastrophic happened."

"For the price this is a good hotel. Although not brand spanking new the rooms are clean, water pressure and temperature great, staff friendly and responsive. Nice restaurant for breakfast. Has a gym which was good to have to use. However the key machines were broken and needed oiling. Close to everything. Feels safe. Overall nice stay. "

"Good hotel close to historic center. Unfortunately, we got a very bad room with a very small window and hardly any light. We had booked for so many days…not very pleased with the room we got. Interestingly, some of our relatives who joined us at the same hotel for lesser number of days were given hand written Thank you cards and a better room! Guess we could have been treated special for the number of days we were there (5 nights)."
