"This was our first time at the Royal National Hotel. It was clean and bright. Quiet at night. Check in was very busy but we were taken to another check in desk. Staff were pleasant and professional. The room was made up daily. The area outside felt safe and not overwhelming. Nearby places to eat. The Underground/tube was in walking distance. I would recommend and stay again if visiting London."

"First time stay at the Bedford and will be returning in future -- clean bright room (facing garden so quieter). Conveniently located between two tube stops (Russell Square & Holborn) and easy walking to St. Pancras & King's Cross. Helpful and gracious staff both at reception and at breakfast. Breakfast buffet was generous and above the usual mid-range hotel standard. "

"I can't believe how friendly, helpful, and accommodating the staff was. Absolutely exceptional service! I wanted to stay an extra night and the hotel staff helped me reserve another room AND they helped me get a discount on the new reservation! The hotel was very clean. I thought the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was quite comfortable."

Overall a good stay with very friendly staff

"Staff was very friendly and helpful especially the lady that checked me in. Wish I caught her name. Room was clean and couldn't fault the cleanliness. Carpet need replacing though and it needs a lick of paint as alot of scuff marks around the skirting. Aircon didn't work and broken which meant room was ridiculously hot."

Very special hotel

"We had two rooms next to each other, the entrance and welcome is 5 star and the overall feel of the place a location near Buckingham Palace makes this feel like a very special hotel. The restaurant gives guests a free token for a drink which is a nice touch and you can mix the bar and restaurant menu which really please my two teens and my mum in her 70s. Something for everyone. Would highly recommend this hotel."
