"The third time we have stayed here. An excellent location for getting to Heathrow, yet a historic building in a local village. Food and real ale selections are normally good, although there have not been specials on the menu the last two times we stayed and on this stay, there was only one real ale, which was a special winter ale and did not appeal. "

"Clean and friendly. Good place for grabbing sleep before an early flight out of Heathrow terminal 5. Had a fire alarm go off (it was New Year’s Eve so you can guess why it went off) but staff did a great job following procedures and clearing us to quickly get back to our rooms. Only complaint is while there are USB outlets near the beds, the only outlets were across the room which is a problem for those of us who sleep with CPAP machines."
