"Raco del Pi is a decent, affordable hotel located in the Gothic Quarter. My 15 year old son and I stayed there for a week over Christmas. The rooms are small but serviceable. The breakfast was limited but helped us get a solid start to our day. We liked the afternoon coffee and sweets in the lounge. We made many simple meals in our room using the small fridge and desk. "Booked this hotel for the spa, but when checking in, was told the spa is under renovation but offer W hotel facilities which is nearby. Breakfast was fine, expecting more varieties. Male Staff was seen talking among themselves without paying attention to guests. Female staff are better. attentive and helpful. This hotel offer a stunning sea view. "

"Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a good location with a metro station directly outside and a 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas and the port. Rooms were a little dated but had everything needed for the stay including an iron. The view from the rooftop is stunning, especially at sunset. Don’t be fooled by the size of the pool though it is quite small, we didn’t use it but would be OK to cool off. Would definitely return and have recommended to others since our return."
