"Had to wait 20 mins outside apartment before host arrived. No basic amenities available, such as bars of soap. Only 1 half used toilet roll left. Only 1 towel per person provided for 3 nts stay. First used the shower on 2nd night and it was blocked and water leaked out of shower door, water flooded bathroom and ran in to living room. "Ely at the front desk is the best you can get in BCN. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Everything was seamless from booking to check out. Grocery store is a 2min walk, train station is a 10min walk, Parc Guell is also down the road. a lot of food and coffee options. Very safe to walk at night. Just a minor recommendation would be to add shelves and hooks in the bathroom so it's easier to store toiletries. "

"The reception and bar staff were brilliant. Each once of the guys was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some lovely cocktails and beers at the bar. We never had breakfast but enjoyed a croissant and coffee each morning, which was nice. We found the location out of the way, and we spent quite a bit of money on taxis and Uber. "The location is far away from all main attractions. We booked for a non-smoking room and we could smell the smoking from the hall to the inside apartment. It was very bad. When complained, they fixed the problem by putting an air cleaning machine in our room and we were asked to be out of the apartment for two hours. "Good place to stay, you get what you pay for and has good transport links to the rest of Barcelona, you can even walk to the centre as its a nice route. Room had very very basic facilities... shower, toilet, bed and hair dryer but that's about it. Only downside to this hotel is that during my 7 day stay my towels were only changed ONCE! and room was cleaned twice as opposed to every day. Sign on the wall says cleaning services finish at 2pm I would put out the sign for my room to be cleaned at...
