"Nicely appointed with rooms big enough for a family. The ability to cook breakfast was great considering a grocery store was a 2 minute walk. The front desk staff was very helpful. It is located in the middle of the gothic section and a walk from most attractions. "

"It's a very nice, old art deco hotel situated close (a couple of blocks) to La Rambla and Catalunya Plaza, the latter of which is a transportation hub, making it an excellent base for exploring Barcelona by foot and metro and for easily getting to and from the airport. They have a rooftop solarium, which we imagine was quite nice, but it was closed at 10 PM when we tended to return to our room, so we didn't see it."

"I had a run-in with a staff member who was a Middle Eastern man of about 35 to 45 maybe 5'8 who stopped me at the door when I was trying to come into the hotel one night. I was filming content for my Travel blog, When he stopped me, he became very agitated and aggressive. I did not appreciate this. I am heavily tattooed and have a younger look in regards to the way I dress and it seemed like he thought I did not belong there. I was offended."
