"We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is an older hotel but absolutely blew us away with the room and service provided. The room was huge, had everything plus more. The room service was top notch and housekeeping A grade. As foreigners who couldn’t speak Japanese we’d like to thank the hosts of this hotel for your utmost patience with us. "The hostel is conveniently located near the train station. It is fine, but I found the bed was a bit uncomfortable. There were gaps between the boards under the bed, so for a side sleeper, you either have your hip/shoulder on hard wood, or completely unsupported. Lockers for valuables provided, but no lockers for big luggage. Other than that it was fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again."

"The hotel offers great value - large room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom - and an excellent location with good access to the highway entry / exit. My only gripe - as an expat living in Japan - was being asked to have a copy made of my ID; something (unfortunately) required of visitors to Japan, but not expats living here. "It is an older building without elevator. It has a small onsen that only 4 people are allowed to use at the same time. Different onsen for male and female I have no problem using the onsen. The room has toilet and wash basin but no shower. Light breakfast is included. The Ryokan is located right in town. Just a short walk to the Yubatake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a decent place to stay overnight. "
