"Heathrow was a long layover for me. I arrived too late in the day to see the sites. I took the Hotel Hoppa from the airport. The hotel was quiet despite being by the airport. My room was clean and comfortable. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful. I ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was good and the service great. It was a nice respite from my travels. "

"I took my wife here as part of her birthday celebration. We went to cirque du soleil at the Royal Albert Hall so a very convenient location. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and my wife received a cake and bubbly for her birthday. Although the bed was a bit too hard, the room was lovely. "

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Thistle and by far the best. We stayed in room 672 which is a suite and was huge, with 2 separate rooms and decent bathrooms. We ate in the bar but didn't go for the breakfast. And of course, the viewing area for the airport was fully open allowing us to spot planes, which is why we visited the hotel"

A busy and packed hotel, great if you like the buzz of an "American hotel" experience - which I do. Breakfast ok but certainly better value than some of the fashionable eateries on the high street.
