"I had a very cheap room without a window, I knew that when I booked so it was no surprise but it was somewhat claustraphobic and I would probably go for a room with a window next time. "My stay at Oakwood exceeded expectations. The hotel’s location near the Melbourne Convention Centre was ideal, and the team were consistently friendly and helpful. The condition of both the hotel and my room was very modern, clean, and very comfortable. It was also a bonus to have a superette conveniently located within the hotel. At times the Wi-Fi connection was patchy and I wasn’t made aware of their pickup airport transfer service at the time of booking (which would have been handy)."
