"The room and view are nice. Unfortunately, they tiled in the hot tub they had previously & that was a big disappointment. :( Construction is going on to rebuild the balcony and it gets pretty loud. It doesn’t bother me but i feel people should know this in advance in case it affects them differently. "

"Check in was easy and staff were very helpful. This is a hotel that is being renovated and I think will be at great when finished. We would love to come back when the tiki bar and grill are open(closed in January). Kids loved having their own space with the bunk bed room with their own tv. We walked to The Spot for dinner and drinks. Had gone to Jack Mackerels for lunch and explored the Fort Fisher museum. We would love to come back! "

"We stayed for 2 nights during Thanksgiving and while the room was clean and the beach was right outside the door we did not have any internet or TV. We were offered the chance to move to another room after our first night but didn't want to pack everything up and move to another room with only one more night to our stay. We were told the cable had been cut. Feel as though we should have been compensated for the inconvience but were not offered that. Other than not having any TV to watch in...

"We weathered a freak storm together and the owner of the motel was very gracious by putting us up in another establishment at no extra cost ."

"This is perfect for a weekend getaway alone or with someone you don't mind sharing a double bed with. Don't expect luxurious, it is simple, clean, private and beach front with basic necessities. My time was with my dog, again perfect if you have a pet. I actually was hesitant to write a review. I'd hate not to have availability for my next trip."

"The room was clean. The bathroom was rather small and there was only one small trashcan in the bathroom. It would be helpful to have another trashcan. The location was great! Each room had chairs and a table outside of it, which would be nice in warmer weather. The keypad light also did not work, which made it difficult to see the numbers to get in the door. Overall, a good deal."
