"To be honest, I had a load of misgivings about this place, because I only read the reviews AFTER I booked and paid for it! The mixture of 2-stars and 5-stars made it tricky to know what to expect, and there was a lot of trepidation when we rocked up to the gaff. Turns out it was fine. The Chekin website they encourage you to use was an absolute dumpster fire, but thankfully not necessary. "The property was in a great location for what we needed. Communication with the owner wasn’t the best and we had to go through Expedia finally get any response which was the only downside. If you’re going to stay here buy a permit through the property as you’ll have a wider option as to where you can park and for a full 24 hours. It costs £10. "The room was pretty tiny, and the traffic on the street below was loud. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and carried my suitcase for me. There is only one restaurant nearby that was pretty lousy. Otherwise, I had to walk at least 20 minutes to get to other restaurants in either direction. It is very close to a very lovely park for walking and relaxing (Stanmer Park). I guess it was ok for the price. "

"Leaving reviews usually isn’t my thing, but this place deserves an exception! This is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The service was excellent, the room was spotless, and the unique atmosphere made me feel incredibly relaxed. I’m recommending this place to all my friends and family when they visit Brighton. "Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "
