"Property was what we expected. Only niggles I’ve got are: Beds in the second bedroom were a little small, I’m 5’11’’ and was too tall for it. There was a constant sound from what could have been a boiler that did keep me up at night. Host was responsive and polite though. Overall good stay. I’d recommend, but for slightly smaller people who don’t mind constant noise."

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

"The property was not fit for purpose with no working toilet, when I contacted the host she didn't arrange for a plumber to fix this so we had no working toilet during our stay which as you can imagine with 4 adults and 2 children in the property was not a pretty sight or smell. When checking in we were given the wrong code for the key safe so was unable to get into the property, we waited for nearly an hour for the host to finally call me back and give me the correct code. The property was in a poor condition with cracks to most of the walls, felt like the place was falling down. The bath panel had a large crack on the side, right where my young children would have climbed into the bath. The host didn't even offer an apology nor any compensation for the fact we didn't have a toilet that could be used. Do not stay here, you will be disappointed and I wouldn't trust the host to help resolve any issues if there were any more to follow...."

Half the price and twice as good

"Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'."
