"A nice relaxing weekend stay. It was a bit dissapointing that the spa was too busy we couldn’t get any treatments, and there were not enough beds around the pool, people would leave for hours at a time with their belongings on them this could be monitored. The pool side area could definitly do with an uplift. The overall vibe was relaxed though and the hotel staff were lovely. The food was a really good standard although the menu was limited. A good stay for the price we paid! "

"Overall a good stay at Hockey House, friendly staff, excellent food and a good night's rest. My only concern is that a superior double is nothing more than a standard double just a slightly larger room. No chairs or stool to sit on just a bed, a table with drinks making facilities and a standard bathroom. I would stay again but would ask to see the room first before accepting it as my stay."

"We stayed here as it is very local to my sisters and were up for a family Christmas and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed and everything was polite and friendly. "We love this hotel. Even had our wedding reception here. The only negative for us that this particular visit was for us to relax and enjoy some peace. Our room was located near to one of the main suites that have weddings/parties. There was a party on the night we stayed and we was woken and kept awake by other guests returning to their rooms and carrying on their party in the rooms. It hasnt put is off staying but next time id ask to have our room in a quieter part of the hotel. "

"I found my room really clean, but i was a bit concerned that the room was a bit too hot through the night, apart from that i really enjoyed my stay, the breakfast was nice as well, definitely staying again in 1 of these hotels.."
