Tv remote missing. I reported this to tecrption and they were going to sesrch for one. They never bothered to respond to.me. Room very noisy, bed right next to the window.. Heavy rain pouring from the guttering, down on to widow ledge . This came down like like a water fall. I had to make ear plugs to block out this loud, very noisy sound, right next to.my head. Therefore I did not have a good night's sleep I Was hoping to speak to the person on reception this morning, but the desk was unmanned. Keys were left in a small post box.

Had no hot water so couldn’t have a shower for the whole stay, when letting the staff no the man said I’m not a F***ing miracle worker will have to call the plumber out currently going through a complaint about this hotel with Expedia and want refunding for my stay

Very dirty hotel. Rooms had black marks on the walls and dirty bedsheets. Horrendous smell of “old people’s home” we physically could not sleep in the rooms so had no option but to pay again and stay somewhere else. Extremely disappointed. Wouldn’t stay here again. Avoid at all costs! This hotel should not be advertised, rooms loo nothing like the website.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing they could not have done enough. The breakfast was amazing too …The only criticism i have us that the heating was not always on during the night which made it cold and the hotel could do with a refurb apart from that excellent stay and would definitely return

This building is a house set converted into a hotel. There is 10 rooms and every one in every room can hear you breathing. Not only that someone decided to let their dog howl till 1/2 in the morning. The guy on reception was hands down lovely nothing against him what so ever. The room itself the bed was half made. The door didn’t lock and the bathroom had clumps of hair in it. Never agai. Parking was poor had to block my partner in just to save us

Loved the entrance hall, very quirky. Arrived in the dark , drove up and down the road four times before we found it . Sat nav took us to the wrong road too. The grounds need some upkeep, could be really nice if some time was spent on it.

We stayed at this hotel because its convenient to seeing family, my daughter referred to it being like something out of a horror movie because its old and has loads of antiques on display. The rooms are clean, and i found the bed really comfortable, but the bathroom could do with a little bit extra care when cleaning and a toilet roll holder would be useful, and maybe not a clear window, although there was a blind to pull down. The parking was fine the first night but was unable to park the second night so had to park on the road outside the hotel. We definitely stay again and recommend it if your happy its not a modern hotel. Didnt have breakfast but smell coming from the dinning room was lovely maybe next time.

This property has a bad smell all over the place. The rooms were dirty, the window frames were rotting, there no towels or soap in one of the rooms. I complained to the receptionist, and told him I wanted a refund and this was not acceptable. He told me the soap was on order, and the towels were waiting to be washed. He offered me a partial credit and i refused this. I expect a full credit, and Expedia should not be listing these types of disgusting places. The images on Expedia of this place are false, it is not fit for occupation. The reception, who was not dressed appropriately , said the smell was because the property is very old. Everything in this hotel was covered in dust. I would like to know whether Expedia will take any action regarding this situation. I had to make another emergency reservation for myself and family members.

A good, restful stopover
This is a budget-friendly hotel, within easy reach of the town centre. My room was clean, warm and comfortable and it had everything I needed. I really appreciated having a car park space, too. I had a ground floor room but there was no need to worry about noise above me or next to me because although the hotel seemed to be quite full the other guests were respectful. Checking in and checking out was very quick and easy.
