"Reception gave us no information on timings for breakfast or spa. No spoons in room so we went and bought our own. No information in room about restaurant or spa treatments."

"The hotel is very nice. The food in Harry's was lovely and very good value for money. My only complaint would be the breakfast. The food was nice, however the serving station was obviously not big enough for the number of people staying as it was constantly running out of items leaving people waiting and their breakfasts getting cold, as was mine. The area where the toaster and drinks machine is very badly set up, causing a constant bottleneck, with no orderly queue. I think the serving areas...

"A very enjoyable time. The hotel and bedroom was very comfortable - and interesting! We were made very welcome and everything during our stay went as it should. The Thai meal was extremely good too. "

"We had stayed there before, when we arrived the heating in our room didn’t work but the lovely receptionist sorted us out with a fan heater for the second night. Bit disappointed that our room wasn’t cleaned at all for our 2nd night ( just emptying the bins would have been nice!) Another area for improvement would be to fix the massive potholes at the entrance of the car park… but the location is great and the staff are really lovely!"

"Hotel is a great location for trips to Harry Potter, this was the reason of our trip, when booking just ask the hotel if any party's booked because if your in the Botham suite or any rooms towards the rear of the mansion house expect to be up late with music and general noise as the party marquee is located to the rear on the patio, which is not ideal if you have little ones. Drinks are mega expensive, food is fairly ok on price. "
