"Staff were very friendly. Extremely clean. Hotel bar has strange hours. Beer is 50 dirhams which is expensive considering the area. They smoke in the restaurant and bar. Room was spacious. Housekeeping was phenomenal. Metro nearby and lots of grocery stores and some good restaurants. "

"Our experience at the hotel overall was excellent. From the greeters at the door, to amazing valet parking service, and also the super kind and generous room and cleaning service. We really enjoyed our time at the Shangri-La in Dubai and would highly recommend it. My family and I felt very comfortable and safe during our entire visit. They also made sure to take the extra step to enhance our experience. "
